Are you buying a business in Mallorca or Majorca?

Well first of all we should point out that Mallorca and Majorca are the same place, it may seem obvious but it can cause some confusion.
Generally over here it's always referred to as Mallorca while in the UK it is more often than not Majorca. In any event the pronunciation and spelling is not important when you are looking for a business for sale. What is important is making the right decisions.

 

Important Buying Advice.

What is important is that if you are looking for a business for sale in Mallorca or Majorca, you should look at it like a business rather than a holiday. It will more often than not be you source of income, so work at it like a job and your chance of living the life you dream of will have more chance of being reality.

Don't buy on a whim, take advice, look at your finances and be careful what you buy and who you buy from.

Do not buy in holiday mode, the life looks great after a few jugs of sangria, take your time and think it through.

Select A Business Agency That Knows The Area.

When deciding which business agency you should work with select with care. You may be looking at an estate agency from 40 miles away in Palma, or a thousand miles away in the UK, of course that's entirely up to you as there may well be no issue with that at all.

However if you are looking for local knowledge, advice on the tourist market, an idea of what your competition will be even down to where the Doctor's is. As well as the history of the business you are buying, can you really expect an agency based so far away without any local knowledge to be able to help you and advise with these matters?
